Halloween hijinx and Cornucopia indulgence
October and November may be rainy (or as we like to believe, building the snow base for winter!) but there is still plenty of fun to be had by everyone. Check out our favourites…
Halloween (Oct 31st) in Whistler is not to be missed: we close off an entire neighbourhood and the residents put on one of the best Trick or Treating experiences you’ll ever have, we boast a ‘real’ haunted house AND there’s our home-grown film festival of gore, Heavy Hitting HorrorFest. If you’ve still got some energy (or have some Halloween candy to work off) dance the night away in costume at any one of the many Halloween parties in the village, ride the Halloween Toonie Race (a night ride in costume), or take a spooky hike to the old ghost town of Parkhurst close to Green Lake. Cornucopia (Nov 6-16) is 11 days of glorious food, wine tastings, workshops and infamous parties! Need we say more; buy your tickets early and and enjoy some decadence in November before turning your mind to skiing/snow boarding. Learn more here.
