Whistler in Fall - Fall events in Whistler

The summer season will soon be coming to a close in Whistler. As we transition from warm summer weather to the coolness of autumn, we often find ourselves caught up in the excitement of snowy days ahead. Trying to wait patiently for ski season to come can often be a challenge. Luckily, however, there are some great fall events in Whistler to tie us over until we can hit the slopes. 



RBC GranFondo

September 7, 2019

Road bikers of all abilities take to the Sea to Sky Highway for one day of car-free cycling. Bikers pedal their way from Vancouver to Whistler for a total of 122km. Following the race, an awards ceremony and concert will take place at Whistler Olympic Plaza. Full event details and registration here.

Whistler Village Beer Festival

September 9-15, 2019

The Whistler Village Beer Festival is a celebration of all things beer. This 7-day event features a variety of events including cask nights, restaurant tap takeovers, tasting events and more. The main event is a 2-day takeover of Whistler Olympic Plaza with over 70 breweries, live music, food trucks and more. Full event schedule here



Whistler 50 Relay & Ultra 

October 19, 2019

The Whistler 50 is a fun weekend of running for all abilities. The Relay is 50 km in length and is open to teams of 2, 4 or 8. New for 2019 is the Ultra race which has solo runners running the full length of the race. Whistler Olympic Plaza serves as the finish line for this event with a post-race party featuring a beer garden, live music, food and more. Full event details and registration here




November 7-17, 2019

Cornucopia is the ultimate foodie event! This annual event features 10 jam-packed days of delicious food tastings, drink seminars, winemaker dinners, demonstrations, parties and more. Showcasing the best in food and drink from British Columbia and around the world, Cornucopia takes place at several venues across Whistler. Some events are known to sell out so booking tickets early is highly recommended. Full event details here.
