For those of you who like golf as much as I do will know that golf season is amongst us. Whistler is home to 4 world class courses. Here is my guide to golf in Whistler and the benefits of each course.
Designed by famous golf pro, Jack Nicholas, this beautiful and unique course overlooks Green Lake and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. After you have enjoyed 18 holes at this beautiful green, you can relish in a delicious meal at Table 19 and watch Float Planes take off from Green Lake.
Whistler Golf Club
The closest course to Whistler Village, Whistler Golf Club caters to all levels of golfer. If the full 18 holes aren’t for you, you can practice at the driving range. It is not uncommon to see bears roaming around the course. Remember to keep your distance from our beautiful friends – stay at least 100m away.
Fairmont Chateau Golf
If you want to experience true mountain golf, the Fairmont Chateau Golf is the one for you. As Canada’s only David Leadbetter Golf Academy, you can benefit from world-class instructional sessions, a state-of-the-art practice facility and private range bays for lessons. Guests of the Fairmont can enjoy unlimited golf too.
Located just South of Whistler Village in the town of Pemberton, Big Sky is ideal for the anyone looking for more dramatic scenery, with 8,000 foot-tall Mount Currie creating a stunning backdrop. Pemberton is a quaint town, well worth a visit. If you are a more casual golfer, Big Sky offers a 5 hole, par 3 course.

You may be wondering where you can purchase some golf clubs and memorabilia to remember your trip. All the courses have their own shop, where you can buy anything from a new golf top to a new set of clubs.
