This time of year brings with it fun filled events for all the family to enjoy. Here are the reasons why Whistler is the perfect place to have your second home, especially during the holidays.
One of the best ski resorts
With two mountains to chose from and 3,200 hectares of terrain, it’s hard to ignore the main reason most come to Whistler. Voted one of the best ski resorts in North America, Whistler Blackcomb offers a widespread skiable area to keep all abilities entertained for weeks. After a slow start to the season, the mountain is now covered with fresh snow. Even on sunny days, you don’t have to wander far to find fresh tracks.
Something for the non skier
Not a skier? There’s plenty to do to keep you occupied. Ride the Village Gondola up Whistler mountain and take in the spectacular views. Experience the iconic Peak to Peak- one of the world’s longest free standing structures. Travel between the two mountains and while taking in the breathtaking sights.
Whistler has all the festive events covered. Keep your little ones entertained with Family Après. The free event, offers fun-filled activities such as face-painting, live music and characters in costume. Also snacks and games, to keep the whole family entertained.
